Taking advantage of the change in the law allowing civil ceremonies to take place in hotels we are delighted now a Registered Place to offer for civil marriages within our hotel. Whether you choose an intimate ceremony for friends and family or a large gathering, we can fulfil your dreams. Our facilities range from an intimate Wedding for 10 people or a larger celebration up to 250 people*. The Royal Victoria Hotel is the perfect backdrop to capture moments you will cherish forever.

The following prices are inclusive of room hire for the main ceremony and also the Interview room for pre- marriage formalities throughout 2009.

The Ballroom – up to 250 people* £725.00
The Assembly Room – up to 120 people* £475.00
The Restaurant – up to 100 people £450.00
The Great Central, Waverley, York and Arundel Room £375.00
Up to 40 people in each room
The Midland and Arundel II – up to 15 people £225.00
*certain restrictions on catering may apply

Please note that the Civil License fees are not included in the room hire charge. 

If you wish to marry at the hotel, you will need the attendance of a Superintendent Registrar of the District to register the marriage.
