The Royal Victoria Hotel gives you more reasons to indulge yourself. It offers 107 luxury 4 star bedrooms, and seven beautiful Victorian rooms suitable for dinners and special events, a quality restaurant, lounges, bars and a health club. The Royal Victoria has been entertaining its guests within its elegant rooms ever since 1982. In fact, the Royal Victoria hotel boast one of the largest banqueting facilities in the north of England, hence it is ideally suited to host large and small dinners and events.  

For guests travelling to the hotel by car there is ample free car parking available, hence many guests attending dinner and association gatherings, elect to treat themselves and book into one of the hotels elegant rooms.

The Ballroom
Our largest room is the ballroom. It is decorated in the finest taste and has been restored to all its former glory during recent restoration works. The versatile ballroom is suitable for a reception up to 600, or theatre style for 450, or 250 for classroom style to 380 for a banquet. The ballroom is the largest room in the hotel.

The Assembly Room
Interconnecting to the Ballroom is our second largest room, the Assembly room, which boasts the same elegant appearance, has a capacity for a reception up to 200 people, or 100 people for a banquet with its own private bar. For large parties, the Assembly Room is the perfect breakout area for reception drinks, and a quite spot for people to talk once the band starts up.

It offers plenty of natural daylight from its traditional tall windows and with the option of utilising the dance floor; it makes the Assembly room the perfect choice for many occasions.

The Cocktail Bar
The Royal Victoria’s private dining room is without doubt one of the most exciting dining rooms in Sheffield, and certainly is the perfect place to meet and celebrate. Ideal for parties of between 16 and 24 people, and again offers a private bar.

Arundel Room One and Two
This room offers elegant and environment for private receptions and dinners. It is ideally used in conjunction with Arundel two being utilised as the reception greeting room.  The room is light and airy, with wonderful high ceilings bringing a sense of style of yester year.

York Suite
The York Suite is one of our larger reception and dinning rooms, situated on a corner of the building; it offers an abundance of natural light, boasting an impressive vista over Sheffield’s skyline and the River Don.

Great Central Room
Named after the heritage of the hotel and its locomotive past, this is a large room with splendid decoration and lots of natural daylight. This makes it suitable for reception for 70 people, or as a pre-dinner reception area for dignitaries and top table guests.

Waverly Room
This room situated close to the ballroom, is and ideal location for a private bar, during large association dinners. It is well located within the centre of the hotel with great access and has an external doorway.  

All of the rooms are elegantly decorated and are wonderfully appointed.
